In appreciation of all the support that the Men’s Shed gives ATT, we were delighted to present them with a suitable time piece for their new kitchen.
The rotten barrel on Connaught Street was replaced by a planter made by John & Stevie of Athboy’s Men’s Shed – June 2026.
The existing planter had rotted badly and was replaced by a new one built by the Athboy Men’s Shed.
A very well received talk by, ecologist Dr Donna Mullen, at the St James Hall was made on 23 March 2026.
The theme was “Making your home a nature reserve” and the many questions asked showed the interest in the subject.

Athboy Tidy Towns were delighted to be awarded this again this year.
We are delighted that our own Lily Mangan was chosen to be the Athboy Community Person of the Year.
Everyone agrees it is a well deserved honour.
